Accessibility
Last updated: 10/13/26
TaterTapps wants everyone to be able to use our website and apps, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our Standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA on tatertapps.com. We do not claim that every page fully conforms; accessibility is ongoing work and we keep improving.
What We Do
- Pages use headings, landmarks and a "Skip to content" link so they can be navigated without a mouse.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Forms have visible labels, and errors are announced to screen readers.
- Links, buttons and form fields show a visible outline when focused with the keyboard.
- Text is checked for colour contrast against its background.
- Animations stop when your device is set to reduce motion, and the scrolling app icons on the home page can be paused.
Known Limitations
- App Store screenshots shown on app pages are images of app screens. They have short descriptions, but the text inside them is not available to screen readers.
- Our apps and their own websites are built and updated separately, so their accessibility may differ from this site.
- Links to the App Store and other third-party sites lead to pages we do not control.
